Canal and River Trust

The Parish of Yealand Redmayne adopted a stretch ( about a mile long ) of the Canal, known as The Northern Reaches in 2016. They hope to improve the area, with Tidy Up Days, planting of bulbs, etc., enlisting the help of volunteers from the School and Village.  A Lifebuoy is now installed; see below. Contact Mike Macklin or the Clerk if you wish to assist.

The next Volunteer Day is to be Notified shortly, until it is safe to work in groups, it is unlikely that any volunteer days will be planned.

The event planned for Friday 19 July at 10.00am. has been postponed. Apologies to all who volunteered their time for that day.
